Six sections. Set aside about 20–30 minutes. Have your school details, CGPA, family information, and documents (WAEC/NECO, transcript, proof of hardship) to hand. Your progress is saved in this browser as you go.
Four stages, one timeline. You can check where you are at any point with your reference number on the status page.
You get an instant confirmation email with your reference number. Keep it — it's how you check your status later.
→The team checks eligibility and reads every answer in full. This is the longest stage; please don't email to ask for an update.
→Shortlisted applicants are invited to a short interview to discuss their studies, goals, and circumstances.
→Every applicant is notified by the date on the programme timeline — awarded, waitlisted, or not selected.
Read the eligibility criteria on the scholarship page before you begin. These are the questions we are most often asked.
No. Applicants must have completed at least one academic session and have a CGPA on record. First-year students are not eligible.
Your WAEC/NECO result; your last two semesters' results or an unofficial transcript; and proof of financial hardship — any of a parent/guardian payslip, a pension statement, a bursar's hardship letter, or a parent/guardian bank statement. You upload these inside the form.
No. One application per person per cycle. If you are eligible for more than one program, select the strongest fit.
All applicants are notified of the outcome by the date on the programme timeline — whether successful or not. We do not maintain a waiting list.
Not if the other scholarship covers the same expenses. If it covers different costs — for example, accommodation only — you may apply, but you must disclose it in your application.
No. Applications are reviewed as submitted. If you make a material error, write to [email protected] before the closing date and we will advise whether an amendment is possible.
No. Applying is completely free. The Foundation will never ask you to pay a fee at any stage — application, interview, or award. Treat anyone who requests payment on our behalf as fraudulent and report it to [email protected].
Yes. Your answers are saved in this browser as you go, so you can close the tab and return on the same device to pick up where you left off. Uploaded documents stay attached to your draft.
Use the Check status page with your reference number and the email you applied with. We send a one-time code to that email to confirm it's you, then show your current stage. We never reveal internal review notes.
A short conversation (20–30 minutes, in person or online) with two members of the selection panel about your studies, goals, and circumstances. It is not an exam — there is nothing to memorise. Shortlisted applicants receive the details by email.
